Welton Rovers Under 9's

After a marvellous first two seasons as Under 7 and Under 8s, the Under 9s (school year 4) have acquired a reputation of being a very happy team who clearly enjoy their football and who play a high standard of football for children so young. Credit for this goes to the wonderful guidence of manager Gary Farrow and the marvellous support of the childrens' parents and families.

Under 9s play under mini-soccer rules which are small sided non-competative "friendlies". Matches are played fortnightly on Sunday mornings.

Whilst the training sessions are structured so as to begin to develope the children's newly aquired skills and understanding, the emphasis remains on having fun.
